Bernie and Donna Rothe

Bernie and Donna have been proud members since 1998, after first meeting while working at OSU. Bernie went on to retire from the Columbus Fire Department, and Donna retired from OSU in 2000. The couple has been married for 48 wonderful years and are the proud parents of two children and grandparents to three. Their daughter Kim lives in Seattle, while their son Mike lives in Circleville.

Over the years, they’ve only owned two Corvettes—a 1987 and their current pride and joy, a 1998 red convertible. Each winter, they escape to Florida for a few months, and while we miss them dearly when they’re away, we know they’re soaking up the sunshine.

Some of their favorite club memories include sharing meals with friends and going on trips with fellow members—proving that with great company, it’s always a good time.
