Club History

Our club was founded in February of 1997 through the efforts of five close friends who shared the enthusiasm and love of America's favorite sports car, the Corvette. The first official SECC business meeting was held on May 8, 1997 at Byers Dublin Chevrolet. Since its inception, the club has grown in membership, making it's name as one of the Corvette clubs in Central Ohio.

The club offers fun, friendship, and the camaraderie of all Corvette enthusiasts. Our club members participate in many types of activities through the course of the year -- car shows, trips to Bowling Green, country day drives, dinner meetings, card parties, rallies, picnics, and parades.

While the club is advertised as primarily social, SECC has routinely donated proceeds from club events to local charities. The club has contributed recently to Wounded Warriors, Honor Flight, Pelotonia, the Powell Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), the American Cancer Society, and Pilot Dogs of Central Ohio.

Four times out of the year we meet at Coughlin Chevrolet (our sponsor) in Pataskala.  Our meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month starting at 7:00pm.

Feel free to attend any of our meetings to see for yourself why Street Elite is one of the fastest growing car clubs in Central Ohio.
