Knox County Poker Run

 

John and Gwen Hollback put together a wonderful day of driving, sightseeing, eating and fun. We even managed to learn a little about some of the historical sites we visited.

Our first stop (after eating breakfast of course) was DeCoskey Chevrolet where we were enthusiastically greeted by the owner and fed more donuts. We then headed off to Kenyon College for an interesting and informative tour led by John and Gwen. Lunch was at the Hollback residence on Apple Valley lake, then we were off to Malabar Farms for a tour. Our day long tour ended at the Loudonville Castle for dinner.

At each stop on the way, we were given a playing card. After dinner, the top three poker hands were awarded a prize -- the winners were Barb Foley, Connie DeWitt, and Dennis Imler. No cheating here, just look at the pictures.

Many thanks to John and Gwen for all the work that went into the day's activities. Everyone had a great time and the activities were a lot of fun.
